Spotting trip

Hi all, not been on for a while, just haven't had the time!!

Anyhow, I am hoping to go on a spotting trip for about 4 days in the new year, hopefully somewhere in Asia.

I'm just after some advice on where to go as I've never been there apart from a 2  hour stop both ways in Hong Kong about 5 years ago en rote to New Zealand.

Ideally somewhere I can spot from a hotel and also has a wide variety of visitors.

Wherever you go, please take care and be discreet if you're using a Mode-S receiver (also scanners and binoculars).

In some Asian countries the authorities have been known to confiscate equipment and imprison users.

Given the state of the world at this time my advice is either leave your equipment at home or go to Bogner for a few days!
