Scanner choice for best performance and quality

Dear Members,

I have just been reading an old Forum Topic of some considerable time ago, and I'd been wondering just WHY more than one person here had changed their UBC785XLT for a Bearcat BCT 15x. - I'd kind of understood that the UBC785XLT was very good.............?

does anybody use a Bearcat BCT 15x for aircraft scanning
I am thinking of replacing my 785XLT and would like a little feedback

Performance wise I would say VHF/UHF airband is similar with all these receivers.

I would have a look at this site that gives unbiased reviews on all scanners.  http://www.ukmidlandscanner.co.uk/

you could ask everyone on this forum and they would all give you their view on a good scanner.

It all depends on your what you want. IE price, technical ability, and storage and ease of use.

The owner has dealt with scanners for many years. he gives very good product write ups, and does not give inacute info. If its not up to scratch he tells you.
