I am having a problem with my SBS3 and my Windows 10 PC. I have my SBS3 powered via USB cable to socket, connected by ethernet via my router to my PC.
All the expected lights are on the SBS box and 4 blues are showing. However, I am not getting any output to the screen. The data is there as my contribution to my PlanePltter link from my SBS are showing on the PP screen, plus I can see the latest additions to BaseStation on the Reporter screen.

Any Ideas what may be wrong?

Hi Mike

What has changed?  Has the router been rebooted and assigned a different IP address to the SBS-3?

How are you connecting PP to the SBS-3 data?  What are the PP settings?

Is your BaseStation data source still set to Network?

Anmer,
will have to get back later as have to pick grandson up from school in 20 mins.

Basestation loads as expected but then fails to show anything on the screen. The data is being produced by SBS3 as Basestation reporter, PlanePlotter and Planebase are all reacting to data from it. It is just the screen that is not showing.

Will speak again later

Thinking about what you said I was sure that it was something in the ini file that may have gone missing as my PC suffered an uncontrolled closedown last night so I thought removing that file so that a new one was created, this of course set the SBS3 to requiring details for it. I closed basestation without waiting for it to complete the set up, deleted the small new ini file and replaced it with the original one. To my delight, but amazement, it worked and everything is back to normal.

Thanks Anmer,

It is due to the 13 years of using different SBS devices and learning from the information found on this forum that I now take a more controlled approach to sorting problems and not going strait to the blind panic mode!. I even managed to program a Raspberry pie  to run FR24 earlier this year which was a surprise to me as it actually works. I have learnt so much and like to at least try and see if I can solve problems before asking for help.

Best regards Mike
