After thirteen years continuous years use of SBS-1, ive had to fully re-install and have come across an annoying anomaly.

I understand non-ADSB aircraft (such as BEE DH8) will not plot on radar but they should show on the lists to the right. But in my case they are not showing on the lists either.

I have ticked the 'Show All Aircraft inc.non-position' but these non-ADSB aircraft are still not showing on the lists.

All the aircraft that are listed are the ones that are plotting on radar!

Help please,
Mark

Welcome.

Non-positional, Mode-S aircraft should appear on the aircraft list but not on the map.

Can I ask how you know you're receiving messages from such aircraft?

Maybe check Settings->Data Settings.  Do you have "Ignore Non ADS-B Mode-S Messages" checked?

Someone has just given me an SBS-1. Is there a place where I can find software for it, and perhaps a manual?

Welcome.

Download the BaseStation_184 CD file.  Then install BaseStation in a new folder of choice.  It's preferable not to accept the default installation location in Program Files.

There's a Reference Manual available from within the installed BaseStation app.  Or download it from the same location.
