Arriving Shannon, flight ID AZA8927, hex 4CAA77.

Skyliner has it as E175, GAS as E170?

I've notice in a few places that there seems to be confusion with the EMB 170 or 175 and 190 or 195. They all seem to have the same construction number sequences (e.i. either starting 170- or 190- but what are the obvious differences between them?

I don't think there's any difference and the numbers are used sequentially within the E170/E190 variants.  For example, E190:

ERJ-190-100IGW C/N 19000103
ERJ-195-200LR    C/N 19000104
ERJ-190-100IGW C/N 19000105

All very confusing. I first noticed it with the FlyBe new machines in one book they are 175's (Air-Britain) and 170's in TAHS Airlines

I think the confusion is between the aircraft type and the marketing names. An ERJ190-100 is a 190 and an ERJ190-200 is a 195. I think any where saying an "ERJ-195-200LR" is a mistake, it is either an ERJ190-200 or a 195. Same for the 170/175s. The full list as far as I know is:

170         ERJ170-100STD
170LR      ERJ170-100LR
175         ERJ170-200STD
175LR      ERJ170-200LR
190          ERJ190-100STD
190LR      ERJ190-100LR
190AR      ERJ190-100IGW
Lineage 1000    ERJ190-100ECJ
195          ERJ190-200STD
195LR       ERJ190-200LR
195AR       ERJ190-200IGW
