Hi Boss Taken your view on board about no conflict between SBS-3 AND Pucks .I'm not too sure. not interested in the Blue the Black is the one i'm looking at.
Can you run all your units  off 1 computer all at once?. I cant run my scanners all at the same time can only do it if I clone them

Sorry Boss. I meant SBS UNITS. At the moment I'm running the 3 with firmware 113. If I get A Black Puck it will come with upto date firmware?. What I'm asking Boss would they conflict?

Anmer

I can run multiple Basestation sessions connected to different SBS-1/3 at the same time without any problems, just as I can also run RadarBox and other receivers.

Hi . Not expressing this very well I'm I. I Am happy with the SBS-3 . But for  the time being I will be running with old firmware t ill we have stop playing.
If the new black Puck is what I want ,I would run it on the same comp.would they be in your view a conflict with old f/ware( sbs-3) and new f/ware in the Black

Anmer

At a guess "No".

But until the Puck appears and is tested I can't be sure.  You may have to wait for feedback from early customers.

Kinetic announce the arrival of the Pucks.

But don't get too excited.  No prices or release dates yet.

They look like the gubbins inside a smoke detector  :)

Ready by Crimbo??

Hopefully they'll be good performers and the price will be set at a sane level, i.e. not competing with secondhand sbs-1's. If so I will almost certainly buy the Blue Puck.

Shelf life.... "is very long - approximately a year and a half".

They never lasted that long!!!
I seem to remember the game of getting as many as possible in your mouth and letting them dissolve slowly. :P
(Love Hearts that  is ..Not Kinetic Pucks)

Is there any thought towards a scanning function for the SDR in Basestation?

This has been suggested many times and I'm sure would be welcomed.  But only Kinetic can confirm if this is a planned option.

What´s the bet that if (when  ;) ) I order one, all that´s left in stock is either strawberry or lemon  :'(

Call me traditional, but I´ll stick with liquorice (black to you and me  ;D ) thank you very much.
