Fat Albert, the USMC C-130J used by the Navy's Blue Angels, just popped up on my feeder. I think it probably deserves a unique flag. AE6963/170000. Here's a good side shot:

Also, I made a generic NASA flag for the GLF5s and others which don't have a custom logo; if it's up to standards, feel free to include it. I always liked the worm logo.

Blue Angels already done - special name.

Thnx for the NASA flag. I may tweak to add NASA logo as well. If there are NASA GLF5 that you want doing I can have a go at those too. Pic(s) appreciated (or a registration will do)

Edit: Did logo, GLF5 and also a P3.

You're amazing, thanks.

Today I see a USAF C-26B (unusual ICAO 520274 / 94-0264), and though it appears there're US Army and Navy flag variants, there's none for RCH. It's also coded as a civilian, so an addition for LocalAircraft.txt

520274  mil     # SW4 94-0264

Recent photos of this type show plain white with some pinstripes:

Gotta catch 'em all!

Cheers

That Blue Angels C-130 looks great. It is an ex-RAF C-130 (ZH885). I was surprised the US Navy bought an ex-RAF C-130, when the USAF, etc have plenty of them already.

Roadrunner

A lot of the U S Navy C130's come to Marshalls of Cambridge for maintenance and that is were the Blue Angels one was modified to its current state.

Caught another odd one today, a USAF E-9A (AE27A6/84-0047), based on the DH8A, with a radar on the right side.

Here's a good view of the left side for the operator flag:

Might actually consider using the left side, so the radar is visible, but then flip it horizontally so its' pointing the right way:

But I couldn't find a perfect, shadowless, daylit shot. Here's Jetphotos selection: https://www.jetphotos.com/aircraft/Bombardier%20E-9A

So based on the amount of US Dept. of Homeland Security B350 spyplanes flying around the Gulf, I think it'd be worthwhile to have a generic DHS flag and/or a flag specific for the B350. I have no idea what other DHS planes are out there.

Here's a transparent PNG with the DHS seal and their typefaced title:

A custom flag for NASA's Super Guppy N941NA/AD120C might be worth doing too, as it's such an iconic bird.

Cheers

rikgale

Done the guppy already - did it when working through the list you put on GH. USDHS I'll get on it.

Ah, a Civil Air Patrol c172 appeared, N389CP / A47CF9. CAP should probably have a organizational flag as its the civilian auxiliary force of the USAF. Mostly known for helping with search and rescue. Looks like WP has their logo:

They even have a rounded, haha.

rikgale

All done.
Even did a CAP-C182 as well as the C172

Since I seem to be attracting the Customs DH8Cs (gulp), a USDHS-DH8C would be nice to have

ben2311

Hey Rik, can you do a flag for ABF-E55P please, OH-TFD, Scanwings .
Thanks
