Hi All,

Today i got a modes in my Session with this info:

ModeS: 26A202
Callsign: RETRO61
ModeSCountry: Not Allocated

When i check the callsign on Airnav, it is showing this: 2022 Mar 7   Mildenhall (MHZ/EGUN)

Anyone here that maybe has some info about this modes?

Aggressor types often use "tactical" or spurious codes to make identification difficult.

Thanks Ian, did you know any registration or is this a delivery modes code?

Hi Pipo,

The code is a Miscode/ Tactical code/ generic code, whatever you want to call it, but it is not tied to the aircraft,
The first F15 that went up was 17-018 so possibly this was the one that used the code.
The 2nd one to leave was 17-017.
The code is of no use unless you want to put a serial to the code but it is not assigned to it.

Best wishes

Ian
