May seem obvious to all but me, but having searched high and low as I can go, cannot find a definitive answer. Digging deep and thinking very much, too much methinks, about buying the SBS-3. After all the work done updating the SBS-1 database over time, would like to keep all those sweaty ;D hours of inserting the data. Be gentle please :-[

Hi Woolf

No problem, SBS-1, SBS-1e, SBS1er and SBS3 all use Basestation.sqb. Your efforts will not be wasted.  :)

Just use the one you have with the "3"

As Triple7 explains, just change the receiver connection.  If you need to update the Basestation.exe Chris has some YouTube videos or ask for help here.

But if you get the SBS-3, first thing to do is update the firmware if it's not the latest.  Chris has a video that covers that too.

His fancy dress one isn't as good though.  :)
Here to Help.

Thanks Anmer, it will be a definite, just depends on how much I can get selling the kids :o As for  the videos, well it just may float my boat! ;)

The database will be consistent with all models so if you get an SBS-3 just update to the latest software and the SBS-3 will run with your existing SQB file.
