I am still getting last insert failed reset PC as well just incase

I know Shakey was having problems with mil mode after updating to win8.1 has this been resolved do you know - did the same without thinking about it

I had a problem with Mil Mode-S after upgrading to Win 8.1, but I managed to get it working so it definitely works under Win 8.1

From memory I un-installed Mil Mode-S and MySQL Connector from Control Panel, then re-ran the setup.exe.

When running the setup let it re-install MySQL Connector, I think this is what broke for me.

I think I needed to put my location details back in under File | Settings. For me this is 'Greenford, GB', your details will of course be different but should be in the same format.

If you don't have the setup.exe and need to re-download it make sure to right-click on the file and go in to 'Properties' and 'unblock' it before you run it.

Slightly of topic, however I have been sending data to Mil Mode-S for a week now using the software from the site. I sent a message to them as soon as I started uploading, but so far have not heard anything about being given an account. Is this normal ? I am providing 24/7 data to them.

If your sending data to them you would log in on the details you used to setup the account

I wasn't asked to set up an account. I just went to the software download and installed it. It says to check that your location is showing on the sharing page once you are running, but clicking on that link just brought up an error page.

Thanks folks - all back up and working.  Installing win8.1 has been one of the worst things i have ever done - I run my own weather website and its caused a fair few problems.  Don't like Wind8.1 to be truthful

I have been sending data for weeks and have sent two e-mail asking if I could register /get a password but never received any reply.

Have you been using the 'contact' form on the website?

If so maybe try:

livemodes at gmail dot com, properly formatted of course!
