Hi, I have an SBS-3 connected via ethernet to my existing router. In a couple of weeks time BT are installimg a new router and was just wondering if i just need to connect my SBS-3 up to the new router and it will work, or would there be further connection details required to get my SBS-3 back up and running?

Many thanks
Mike

It depends on the router, possibly allocating a different local IP address to the SBS-3.

The SBS-3 default local IP address is 192.168.1.170.

If the new router has a default address in a different range, such as 192.168.0.nnn, you will have to set a new SBS-3 local address.

Post back here if you need any help when the router has been changed.
