A decommissioned Transall C-160 nearly took out a group of aviation enthusiasts on its delivery flight to a museum on Tuesday.

The 63,935-pound, twin-prop aircraft touched down hundreds of feet short of the runway's landing area at Ballenstedt Airfield in Germany, bouncing on a road where several eager enthusiasts, among the 1,000 in attendance, were watching.

The video shows the aircraft missing the crowd by just a few feet. The aircraft itself handled the incident fine, continuing to land normally moments later. No one was injured in the process.

Worth viewing if only to pick a safer spotting location next time.
