I'm back home now.

Maybe take a look at Pages 10 onwards of the FR24 Feeder Manual.

This may be what you need configure to feed data to BaseStation?

Many thanks - I felt I was flying blind all along.  The manual really helped!

Turns out I had the port settings correct, but should have been taking data from the fr24feed (on the host machine), rather than from SBS Client, running on the local VM!

The local display is now back!
