At or around 21:00 on 08/04/25 an a/c shifting variously from Tiger 20 to Easy 20 and a couple of others I didn't catch RO??? popping in and out of ADSB at Pembrey Sands air weapons range. HEX 000001 Callsign 00000000 shows on ADSB on and off. Unid American voice twice contacted Pembrey Range on 122.750. Appears to originate Mildenhall. Last night and for a couple of days ZJ165 Dauphin did some rooftop passes but I don't think this is it. Any thoughts?

At 22:12, appears to have landed at Mildenhall then moved to 7th SOS Ramp @ 22:16

I overlook Pembrey but wasn't watching this evening.  But around 19:00 UTC there were control vehicles on the beach, usually seen in advance of aircraft landing.  But no fire engines which are normally present.  There was an A400 landing the night before around 22:00 UTC.

My BaseStation Reporter shows these entries:  Possibly using the range?

I am leaning towards a possible Osprey? Although you would have heard it i'm sure. Jiqsaw 97 is doing orbits as I type. There has been a bit of SF activity over Pembs in the last few days and I wonder if this is a pick up/drop off. 122.750 has sprung back to life again but likely associated with Jigsaw 97. The cycling of callsigns is something i haven't seen live, so that was intersting at least

Hey ANMER, Whatever it is, it's returning or appears to be abeam Newport and following the same route to Pembrey as before.

Although I have a great view of Pembrey (to my south east) it's nearly 9 miles away and I rarely hear anything from there.  If the wind's in the right direction I can sometimes hear Hawks, Typhoons and F-15s pulling up from their bombing dives.

Unfortunately I'm in bed by 22:30 most nights!

Yes of course. We have to sleep at some point. I suppose i could have gone for a drive on the off chance. Unless a member close to Mildenhall had eyes on it is safe to say that's the end of that for now.

Unid back again 21:34. Movement suggests a helo of some sort. Again cycling through callsigns "easy 20" and "N445CD" and "DEAD 31" on this occasion.
Assume UNID "??73" advises Pembrey Range "2minutes" @21:54
I think this is it. 11-0058 cv-22b Osprey just appeared on list but not plotted to screen in VRS at 74.53 miles which would locate it at Pembrey from my location.
Sure enough a brief flash of 11-0058 turns up on adsbexchange and disappears again. I 'm calling this tied up. Thanks to all for assistance

Just seen this post.  Can't see anything over Pembrey at this time, probably gone "home".

Thanks for that. Still no idea what "apttest" shadow a/c signal was. unless it's some sort of tactical spoofing. The Osprey was cycling its callsigns randomly. Plenty of armour and SF action locally recently
