VRS - Download Air Pressure Readings not working

I have used VRS on Windows for a long time and the software always downloaded the sea level air pressure value (QNH) from a local airport so that the correct altitude was displayed for aircraft flying below the transition altitude

Recently I have noticed that the altitude displayed by aircraft is way off when there is High or Low atmospheric pressure at sea level, so clearly the software is no longer grabbing the local weather reports (METARs). All altitudes selected from the VRS menu (Altitude, Altitude AMSL etc) are showing altitude based on Standard Pressure (1013hPa)

I believe this stopped working when the USA Government Shutdown started in 2025

Does anyone have a fix for this please?

The VRS SDM is working when I request a local airport MET report:

Strange that the VRS software does not pick it up anymore!

Aircraft with type 2 transponders are sending down the pressure setting (QNH) they are using, so their altitude displays correctly. It's most light GA aircraft that are showing incorrect altitudes

Thanks all
