American Airlines pilot forced to "slam on the brakes" to avoid colliding with truck at Charlotte airport.

This seems to be happening a lot more frequently these days. A simple but maybe costly solution would be to require all vehicles inside the airport operations area to have a transponder installed. How many more close calls or pilot deaths are needed to correct this growing problem.
