Hi All ,

I can get my VRS to show SBS-1 on my computers using my router - But how do I set up VRS to show on the internet so others can see my screen .

I know it can be done as there are a number of VRS screens to view on the net - I have never figured how it is set up though . :(

Thanks

Tony

In essence you need to set up port forwarding on your router so that a remote browser connection to your public IP address will get redirected to the local PC running VRS.

For example, if VRS is running on a PC with a local IP address of 192.168.1.6 on port 8080, your router should create a service for VRS on port 8080 and redirect all inbound calls for that port to the IP address of the PC running VRS.

Local Browser = http://127.0.0.1:8080

Remote Browser = http://(your public IP address):8080

If you want to test this I can set up VRS here to allow you to connect via a browser and then we can reciprocate?

Hi Anmer ,

OK - I have set the port to 8080 in my router Port Gaming  - Port triggering etc

Now  - on my own VRS screen I show  http://192.168.0.10/VirtualRadar/GoogleMap.htm# - that shows my SBS screen live

What will I have to do to show you my VRS live screen to you ?

The three network address - they show in my VRS

1 http://127.0.01/VirtualRadar
2 http://129'168.0.102/VirtualRadar
2http://70.66.73.109:8080/VirtualRadar

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony

Have you configured port forwarding on your router to allow incoming calls for 8080 to redirect to the local IP address of the PC running VRS?

If I use:

http://70.66.73.109:8080

I get to your webpage which doesn't fully display.
