Ryanair is the least popular short-haul airline, according to a new survey that gave the carrier its lowest approval rating ever.

The Irish firm received an overall satisfaction score of just 34% in a table put together by consumer magazine Which? from its members' votes.

It was 16th and last in the table, which was compiled from views of passengers on a home-bound flight in the 12 months to October.

VFB Holidays was always the most popular tour operator according to Which.  Where is it today?

I wonder how many of the Which respondents have actually been on a Ryanair flight?

I've recently travelled a lot by Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Flybe, BA and others - even EasyJet which I said I would never do. I found that all of their costs and charges worked out to much the same in the end as did their service except for Flybe, which was really dire.

I won't bore you with lots of statistics - others are quick to do that - but just have a look at these latest stats from Ryanair;

Strange how they manage to keep increasing their traffic when they are so universally hated.  ;)

Ryanair got lots of bad press before they updated the fleet. not heard many winges other than hidden charges, and that has now been sorted
