Good range with SBS-3

Hi Billko

Are these the Jim M-75 preamps:

You can use these between the sbs-3 and antenna.  Try it and see if it makes a difference, making sure you set the frequency range on the preamp.

They eat batteries.  :(

Hi Mike. Yes they are the jim type Would it be ok to place a short patch lead between the amp-sbs?  or adapter ie BNC-SMA?
In any case will try it out . I will keep you informed
