web server online but not on the internet

Hi there,

running VRS. Local i can see my VRS (127.0.0.1)
Told my router to forward but when i hit the button "put onto internet" nothing happens... why?

Did someone try to connect to your public IP address and the VRS port?

I kinda of have the same problem. I can see VRS locally and on the network on the pc running it. Cannot see it on my iPad's Chrome browser. Also, not able to see VRS with any of the internet addresses anywhere; pc or ipad.

Do you close VRS down on the PC before you try to run it on another device, such as your iPad?  Is the iPad on the same local network as the PC?

Anmer, not quite sure what you mean by closing down VRS before trying to run it on iPad . I only tried on the iPad via the link provided on the VRS settings. Yes, the iPad is on the same network as my pc. Should I try disabling wifi on the iPad before trying to connect to the VRS ?

I haven't used VRS for a long time so am not too sure about concurrent sessions.

How are you connecting to VRS running on another device via the iPad's if its WiFi is turned off?

Hi all, I have recently set up VRS on my computer whilst going through the install process I ticked the firewall box, however I can only view the radar on the PC I set it up on I've tried my phone connected to the WiFi and nothing loads up

VRS gives me a 127.x.x.x address and a 192.xxx.x.35 address

Any ideas? I have a virgin media hub 3 if it helps
