And FR24 is currently showing the wrong UTC!

Mine, as I write, is showing 12.32.  Isn't that correct?

It keeps changing. Look now, it's showing 0239.

Aha, I think I can see what's happening.

I'm assuming you're searching for WSSS in the Search Field?

If so, are you selecting the first result after you've typed just three letters wss?

If you are, you get offered WSSS (flight ID) for HS-TEP, an historical flight and if you select this you get a playback with the appropriate UTC time for the flight recorded on 3rd February 2013.

If you wait until all letters "WSSS" have been entered you'll also be offered the Airport.

Nope, I'm selecting Singapore/Changi. I haven't checked but it's probably showing local time. It does  sometimes come up with the correct UTC.

Can you post a screenshot Tom as I can't replicate this except as described.

FR24 shows UTC throughout, never local time.

Here you go!

I do notice that the DTG in the left column shows 2013-02-03. I think it is mis-selecting as I definitely selected the lower choice Singapore/ Changi.

It has just done the same with EGLL showing the same DTG in the left column!

Thanks Tom.

I think that confirms my earlier analysis.

The playback panel at the bottom confirms that an historical flight has been selected rather than the Airport location.

Try again, entering WSSS in the search field to see the displayed choices.

My screenshot shows there are two choices, the hsitorical flight for WSSS (HS-TEP) and Changi Airport.

I think you've selected the first option instead of the airport which will centre the map at WSSS in current UTC time.

It does nothing of the sort, Mike. I might be 74 but I'm not senile.

I make pinpoint selections in the PP list all day every day and never mis-select.

Here's EGSS - the lowest panel selection.

I didn't suggest you were.

The presence of the playback panel at the bottom of the screen (white background with 12x playback speed slider) confirms that you've selected an historical flight from the search results.  That's why the UTC time is different.

But it looks like I'm wielding that big stick in the cartoon.
