I have just tried this using Chrome on a Nexus 7 and the page fails to load.

could you tell me what flags and silhouettes you have pls

Anmer

Welcome.

I use a mixture of operator logos and silhouettes, either my own or those provided by forum members.

What do you want to achieve?

I have set up Virtual Radar with these settings, but no aircraft traffic appears
ADSB
Format : AVR or Beast
Network
IP (My own Laptop)
port 80
Test Connection OK

MLAT and Receiver on 8080
Flags and Silhouettes folders empty

The only ports I have open on my router appear to be 80 and 8080
I have seen set-up procedures using ports such as 30004, but they are blocked on my router
Spent hours at this and acheived nothing

Welcome

What type of receiver are you using and what decoding software is running? And is it connected to a local network?  Do you know the local IP address of the device decoding the Mode-S messages?

Is VRS running on a device on the same local network?

I am hopefully on the network of the Virtual Radar Server ?
I have no onsite receiver or software
Is this my basic problem then, trying to achieve the impossible

I think so:

Virtual Radar Server is an open-source .NET application that runs a local web server

You can connect to the web server with any modern browser and see the aircraft plotted on a map

Virtual Radar Server runs on Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Linux (via Mono)

Tracking real aircraft

You will need a radio that is capable of receiving Mode-S transmissions.

Virtual Radar Server was written and tested using Kinetic Avionic's SBS-1er and SBS-3 radios but it will work with any receiver or SDR that can produce the Kinetic text message format, Kinetic's SBS-3 binary format, the AVR "*", "@" or ":" formats or the Mode-S Beast binary format.

Thanks for confirming problem. I was beginning to ponder the thought of no receiver
Sucked in by this banner headline on the VRS web site:
"You can connect to the web server with any modern browser and see the aircraft plotted on a map
Also watched a couple of You Tube Videos telling you how to set up the software, BUT  no mention that you must have a receiver attached. Consequently I thought the feed was coming direct from VRS when it mentioned "connect to the internet"
I already have a URL to ADS-Bx/ Global Radar, so that will do me fine
Appreciate your patience with such an obvious error

It's not always obvious.  Glad we could help.

Hi, no. I am located in Austria.
This are the standard coordinates. I still need to change this.

Should be fixed now if you clear page data and reload.
To see all receivers you need to activate the merged feed "All Receiver" in the Menu. (Did not figure out how to make it default yet)

Sorry, I removed the link till I find time to implement a back link in my site.
