JET2 has issued advice to passengers due to fly on their Leeds and Tenerife services from Belfast International Airport.

The airline announced today that domestic flights between Belfast and Leeds would be operating from Belfast City Airport until further notice.

The airline took the decision on Monday to "temporarily suspend" operations at Belfast International airport over safety concerns.

Ian Doubtfire, Managing Director of Jet2.com, said: "All passengers on these flights should either check in at Belfast International or head straight to Belfast City Airport."

Tomorrow morning's flight to Tenerife is also affected, with the flight now operating from City of Derry airport.

If it only concerns one aircraft, let's hope Jet2 are looking at it too. A shame if it ended up in Belfast Lough.
