Light aircraft makes emergency landing in Leeds field

Four people escaped unhurt after a light aircraft crash-landed in a Leeds field.


Fire crews were called to the emergency landing by controllers at Leeds Bradford Airport.

When firefighters from Bradford, Leeds and Stanningley arrived, all four people on board the plane had safely got out without any injuries.

The aircraft had suffered minor damage but was not leaking fuel.

A specialist rescue unit from Cleckheaton fire station also attended
