BUDGET airline Ryanair has mocked former Westlife star Brian McFadden after he slammed the company on Twitter.

The pop singer labelled boss Michael O'Leary a "scumbag" after check-in staff demanded an extra £150 for his flight.

He told O'Leary, 52, over Twitter that he was "exploiting hardworking people" after being asked for another £70 to print his boarding pass and £80 for going 4kg over his baggage weight limit.

Brian, 33, who had performed a DJ set in Liverpool and was on his way to Spain, eventually caught a train to London to catch a flight "with an honest airline" instead of handing over more cash.

Nice to see an airline that doesn't give 'celebrities' priority over the ordinary passenger.  :)

I've found that travelling within Spain, Vueling tickets are the same price as Ryanair, but that budget airline offers a much superior service.

These "famous" people are only famous on stage.

In real life they should be treated like ordinary folks - no preferred treatments.
