Busiest ever June at Bristol Airport

[mhm]

More than 625,000 passengers passed through Bristol Airport last month, breaking the previous record of 610,000 set in 2008.

The airport says bmi's new services to Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg doing particularly well.

KLM's Amsterdam service carried 12% more passengers than last year, thanks to a larger aircraft on the route.

Bristol Airport says things are looking good for the holidays with new or additional flights to Corsica, Crete, Zurich and Turkey expected to prove popular.
