You can test the dongle freq range with the test function of RTL1090.

Hi Junglejet,

I used Newsky DVB-T + DAB + FM Dongle and follow the Steps in your site to install RTL1090.

But I got Fatal Error message:

Device: 0, Cannot Open: - 12

Please help.

That error suggests the incorrect USB drivers are installed.

Did you use Zadig or the CD that came with the DVB-T?

I used Zadig. I lock the CD that came with the DVB-T in the bank's vault - LOL.

But in The "Device manager" is show up in "Sound, video and Game controller" instead of USB.

Maybe Windows installed the drivers.

Try using Zadig again to install the correct drivers:

I re-installed that drivers - I solved the problem.

If Windows Update tried to update the Realtek driver - do NOT allow it. It made your DVB-T unrecognisable.
