On joining Radarspotting you will be asked to agree to the following:

"You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. In addition we ask that you abide by the following extremely reasonable rules if you intend to post in the forums.

Forum Account:
You may not have more than one account for this forum.  Your UserName must not include a website URL address.

Flaming:
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Use common sense while posting.

Offensive Content:
Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense.

Illegal Content:
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain or provide software ("warez") is forbidden.

No Advertising:
The forum must not be used as an advertising medium for companies or individuals who merely want to promote their business or products. Members do not want useful information diluted with posts that are nothing more than advertisements.

No Trojan Horses:
We will not tolerate posts that promote or support a particular product from members posing as existing or potential customers. Employees or associates of suppliers and/or distributors of Mode-S receivers and/or related software MUST declare their association in their forum signatures. Any member suspected of having an undeclared association may be gagged and any posts removed.

Cross-posting:
Posting a thread in more than one forum is annoying and thus should be avoided. Just post it once in the correct place.

Avatar:
Your Avatar should be no larger that 150x150 pixels and can be either a gif, jpg or png image file. You may not use an Avatar of another member or include a website URL address.

Signature Size:
To avoid annoyance, signatures must not be more than five lines of text. If images are used in a signature, they should be smaller than 50KB and no more than 100 pixels high.

Link In Signature/Profile:
You may put a link to your personal website in your signature/profile or in a post. If you do, a reciprocal link to this forum is a prerequisite.

Conflicts:
If you have an issue with another member try to resolve it via PM in a polite and non abusive manner and not within the regular forum.
