Hi All
I'm running ADlite with my SBS1 on my win 7 /64 PC... just lately I am getting a error message which reads...

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error
and attempt to continue

Cannot set column 'ICAO Type'. The value violates the MaxLength limit of this column.

Can someone please tell what the problem is and how to cure it, if possible....

Thanks

Tom

Experienced similar errors with AD Lite. Seems to me that some aircraft (from memory, RAF?) send data that exceeds the limits of what AD Lite expects  (probably based on what is supposed to be sent!).

In an ideal world, AD Lite would check and reject but instead the program throws an error. I think that everything carries on as normal despite the error so it just needs clearing.

I've stopped using AD Lite and gone back to SBS-1 Populate. All I want is for unknowns to be identified and it works fine.

Couldn't find any solutions to the AD Lite problem.

Someone else may know better  ;)

Hi Ian

Thank you for your reply, I did not have clue as to what causes this problem,

I really appreciate your answer...

I thought that SBS Populate was no longer working, so I will try using it again...

Many thanks Ian

Best regards

SBS Populate has "populated 83 items" in the last few days so it is definitely working.

SBS Populate was not available for a while and I used AD Lite until those errors kept occurring.
