I think Poitr will be very happy with the SBS-3
The unit can run PP without Basestation so I am sure that Poitr can get the SBS-3 to feed his network

hi all HELP!!!!!!!!
got this sbs3 before xmas.took it out of the box today for the 1st time.have not got passed the testing system stage.
.
installed basestation 164 i think ,no ip address and port numbers

Start with connecting the cable that came with no ip needed.  USB one, ;), check for lights on front of little blue box.

hi mixism have done as requested ,power.usb 2 blue signal on.im getting ready to replace it back in the box  and give myself a headache tomorrow

mixism have 2 scanners,1 hf radio,connected through the computer .wonder if there is a conflict issue with them and the sbs

You should be running Basestation v165 with the SBS-3. Download the .exe file free from the Kinetic estore http://www.kinetic.co.uk/estore/  and just copy it to the Basestation folder.

hello again tom.did as you suggested and installed 165.keeps coming up with could,nt load sqlite libary so proceeded to install that also.still no joy.
an Tom i have a sense of humour so if you want to take a pop feel free.your help is much appreciated

hi mike just going to take out the scanner/hf control programs see if thats effecting it .Its starting to grate a little.i got this box  as a retirement gift (did they know something i did,nt) will get back to you very soon

I think it's just the sqlite3.dll file not being in the folder that Basestation is expecting it to be located.
