Hello all,

Im wanting to setup my SBS1er1 for raw PP usage but not sure how to do it given PP needs to utilise port 30006.

Also will I need to have BS running, can it be standalone like the -3???

I want to use my -3 for MMS2 now that a new client is avaliable.

Any ideas appreicated.

Hi Cam

PP will need Basestation running if you're using an SBS-1eR.

If you're running Basestation 161 or later you will be outputting raw data for Mlat for all SBS-1 models.

Those with SBS-1e/Rs running the latest firmware and Basestation 161 or later will have raw data for PP Beamfinder but not Beamfinder Plus.

The raw data is available on port 30006 not 30003.

In PP, just point PP at the IP address of the PC running Basestation and then run through the Test Networking to check you're providing good raw data.
