DHL sign up for site in Manchester's £800m Airport City

Freight and distribution firm DHL has become the first business to agree a relocation to Manchester's £800m Airport City development.

The firm has signed a pre-let contract with Manchester Airport Group (MAG) for a 37,308 sq ft (3,466 sq metre) site which will create 150 jobs.

DHL will run a drop-off and pick-up service point for overseas deliveries.

MAG has earmarked the south of Airport City as a logistics hub for businesses including DHL.
