MUSTANG51

Hi,

First post but most know me from SBS forum as I make flags (MUSTANG51), to be honest only joined so I could read Anmer 1090 Puck review. Well mine arrived this morning (thanks Chris, fast delivery as always) and after updating the EXE replacing the SBS-3, everything worked. I have only done a quick run but it seems to match the SBS-3 for contacts...

Reason for the change from SBS-3 to Puck is my lack of SDR use, although very handy I prefer to use my (steam powered) scanners.

Cheers
Peter

p.s not the thing to say but Puck looks quite cute sitting under the desk :)

Anmer

Welcome and thanks for the feedback on your new Puck.

Hope the Review was OK?

Hi Anmer,

Well it certainly helped in my decision, nicely written without some of the guff you get in some reviews.

Anmer

Thanks Peter.

I'm not qualified enough to add "guff".  ???

Good afternoon ,

My puck is now up and running thanks to Chris Taylor for his help.
My only problem now is trying to run my Active display pro.
Installed ok , but won't run on the path virtual store and manual settings.
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know where your "active" BaseStation.sqb file is located?

Gd day ,

When Chris installed the Puck just now he has made a new basestation file.
So he transfered my data to the basestation file.
So when I run the puck I can get registrations.
With regard to the "ad" I don't know how to run it from there.

In AD you have to tell it where to find your active sqb file.

So I guess I have to got to sbs path , then manual and find the sqb "live" file and run it like that ?

Anmer

AD must be "told" the path for your active sqb file.

Do you know where Chris installed BaseStation?  If he accepted the default location it could be in the Virtual Store location.  Or he created a new folder and installed it there.

Then tell AD where to find the sqb file in that new folder.
