Good morning ,

Many thanks to everyone that replied/helped.
I now have resolved the problems and is running well.
It's really good and can't get over how small it is.
Really handy when travelling.

Chris made a new sbs folder so I could run it from there.
Very happy.
One remaining problem is flags.I've lost most of them.
Basically I tried to change them as normal through AD and it
tells me  that it's successful.
However,even through reloads etc.no luck.
Then tried to copy an old flag file into sbs on programmes no luck.
Maybe the path is wrong. But everything else is perfect.

I think you should continue to ask Chris for support as I have no idea where he has installed your BaseStaion files and folders.

Call me tomorrow Paul I will be there

:)

Chris,

What was the path to the Basestaion.exe you set up?

If you have a 'standard' path if you can let us know what it is then when questions are asked we in the community might be better placed to help.

I know a 'right mouse click' well placed will tell all but many people are not au fait with the intricacies of Windows.

I appreciate the help you give, and in particular the help you have given me in the past.

Cheers,

Keef.

Keef it depends on what the customer already has
In most cases If I have to deviate from the normal install I set it to C:\Basestation but if the customer already has some stuff installed I create C:\SBS which I think I did in this case
However it is always preferable for the customer to contact me if I start I prefer to finish  :)
