Did you inadvertently load the drivers that were on the DVB-T CD?

Hi Anmer, not that I'm aware of I have since deleted the dongle in device manager and it's drivers and started again loading the zadig drivers as tr instructions but still hetting this error on startup?
Many thanks for your help

If the DVB-T default drivers are loaded, I don't know how to remove them.  I've tried and failed.

Try connecting to a different USB port?

Which RTL1090 file download did you get from the Jetvision site?  Was it RTL1090 "Scope"?

Perhaps start with Version 2 and follow the install instructions in the 1_DO READ THIS FIRST.all.versions.txt file?

RTL1090 is not outdated and I do not know of any other software for RTL dongles that comes with a Radar Scope in the same application.

The latest version of RTL1090 was released in March 2015 (V 3.0.4.161)

It's worthwhile updating to this latest version if you're running the previous release which dates back to late 2013.

I find it works flawlessly with Virtual Radar Server and gives the HUGE benefit of being able to chain multiple dongles together into the one feed.

If you haven't used it yet, try it. Download the program from the Jetvision website using the installer utility and then update to the latest version manually. I think that it's the easiest of all the software to install and use.
