Setting Home Location (Newbie Question)

I am having problems setting my home location in Plane Plotter.
I  believe  that my home location in Doncaster is:
N53° 32' 9.02'' W1° 5' 53.07''
However PP is showing this as being east of Spurn Point and my feet aren't that wet yet 

Anyone got any ideas please?

Use decimal minutes notation:

N53 32.1503   W001 5.8845

I'd set the longitude to E instead of W
