SBS-1er - Internal Radio

Hi,

Can anyone offer some advice on a problem I have with the internal radio on my SBS-1er.

The unit is connected via LAN cable not USB. When I click on the "Display  the control panel for the internal radio" icon - nothing happens. I cannot get it to appear. I have 'use SBS-1 Serial port' showing under the Hardware settings >> Radio tab. I also have nothing (blank) as the radio interface. I am plugging a headset directly into the audio port of the SBS.

Am I missing something, as when I connect up via USB (to my laptop) it works perfectly. Is there some restriction or other requirement when connecting via LAN?

Yes, perfectly apart from the Radio not working

Right, I had a long chat with Chris Taylor - many thanks for you time and advice. Problem identified but not completely resolved.

It relaters to me using ModeSmixer, it would seem as though ModeSmixer is not passing the audio information across and so the internal radio will not work, in fact the menu item 'built in radio' is missing from BaseStation when running ModeSMixer.

Tested by closing ModeSMixer, resetting the IP address of the SBS in BaseStation to 192.168.1.170 (default) and all was well. Resetting to 192.168.1.10 (PC running BaseStation) and re-starting ModeSMixer stops things dead.

If Sergsero reads this, can you please have a look at ModeSMixer and see if you can implement the audio feed please?

Now I remember we had similar issues when using SBS1Client and, I think, SBSNet Pro.

Hi Tim,

Yes, I'm reading this thread and will think how to solve the problem.
With SBS-3 it would be easier to make, but I will try for SBS-1eR, though still can't promise a positive result.

As usual I seem to following along behind Tim with similar difficulties. I have just started to share SBS-3 data via ModesMixer and realised the audio does not work.

So did you find a solution for the SBS-3? You suggested in your message that it might be possible
