Hi Mike

Could I please ask whether there is any issues with the MMS
sever as I've been getting lots of drop outs over the past few days.

Two months ago I had fibre optic installed and this seem to appear
to stop drop outs, but for instance this morning and now (1433 L) it's
dropping out?

Thanks

Terry Wade

No one else has reported this issue but I'll ask FR24 to check if all is OK.

Thanks Mike.

When the MMS server drops out I get lots and lots of odd records appearing on my SBS, as mentioned before this happened on a regular basis, but a few months ago I had fibre installed, and
they disappeared, but they reappeared again yesterday. I just wanted to check that everything was OK with the server, otherwise it could be my internet connection, although I can get on the internet etc... fine?

Hi Mike

Sorry to trouble you but I'm still getting continual drop outs on my MMS2.

Can I please check that I have all the settings correct with it, please see image below.

For several months I hadn't received any drop outs and odd records, I think it's probably my internet connection as recently I turned the router off for several weeks whilst I was on holiday,
and on switching it back on again this has happened, I just wanted to check everything before I call out an engineer to look at the router, exchange etc....

Thanks

Terry

Sorry Terry, but no one else is having this issue and MMS2 is working OK.

If you can connect, your settings are OK.  Is anyone else using your ISP connection to download files or videos?

Do the dropouts occur at a regular interval.

Hi Mike

Thank you for trying to help me.

No one else is downloading or using the internet at the moment and still my MMS 2 server
drops out giving me all those weird countries and codes.

I had fibre installed a few months ago and the drops out stopped. This also seems to have happened since I turned my router off for 2 weeks whilst I was on holiday. I've rebooted the router, changed channels, called Talk Talk who aren't very helpful. I can see if I call an engineer out they will say there's nothing wrong and charge me. It will be difficult explaining to an engineer about the MMS2 server and the drop outs I'm getting   :)

I miss using the server, as you know I use it all the time and are probably one of the first to use it.

Thanks again

Terry

Hi Mike and All

Just to let you know that my MMS2 server is working fine now.

After many phone calls to Talk Talk my ISP, postings on their forum, the fault was their end with
packet losses, this was effecting many customers throughout the UK using live data, but as usual at first TT were blaming customers home equipment, routers, wireless devices.

Thanks again for your time, it's nice having MMS2 working again.
