Hi all,

As far as I know, Virtual Radar Server assigns a 'species' to every ICAO code. But which code do I need to set, in order to get the 'ground vehicle' species?? It doesn't work when I try GRND, and other things don't seem to work either. Is there any way I can edit that myself?

I hope someone can answer my question.

Why not ask on the VRS forum. Seems like a specialised request that the developer could answer.

What are you wanting to achieve?

To display these on the map with a special icon or a silhouette in the aircraft list?  Or something else?

No, the silhouettes and logos are no problem.

Yesterday, I got a ground vehicle from AMS Airport on my reciever, but unlike other aircraft (that show as 'landplane' or 'helicopter') this has no 'species' listed. And today I saw the same for a G280..

In this screenshot you can see what I mean:

But I'll post the question on the VRS forum as well. Thanks for that :)

Thanks for clarifying.

What database are you using?

He may need to space the columb apart more the correct title is FIXED-WING LANDPLANE

Just reread the question, you may find that they are not listed as there are so many different vehicles on airfields at any time. You will find a list of these on my site,

Erm, I use the basestation.sqb file from SBS-resources.

In the meantime I got a quite lengthy and useful answer on the VRS forum :) I think that's all the information I need. http://forum.virtualradarserver.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=536

So it would be possible with editing the StandingData.sqb , but it might be quite dangerous.

I dont know yet what to do. I would like to add it myself, but I'm afraid to do something wrong and mess up my database.. But I think I'm going to ask the VRS developer first.

Thanks all for your help :)
