Hi

I've had an AirNav Radarbox for 5 years and have just invested in a 1090 Puck after reading the very positive feedback comments on here. I've successfully installed BaseStation and got the Puck up and running but my Radarbox has now stopped receiving data with the red light on the display indicating Hardware not connected although it was fine until I setup the Puck. Is it not possible to run them simultaneously on the same PC or is there something I need to do?

Many thanks

Nigel

I'm pretty sure I was able to run both BaseStation and RadarBox on the same PC at the same time, using an SBS and RadarBox receiver respectively.  I used this setup to compare coverage.

I'm away at present and can't easily check.

What happens if you close BaseStation and launch RadarBox on its own?

If I close then both down and then relaunch Radarbox it is still unable to connect. I've even tried rebooting my PC and starting again but still get nothing from the Radarbox.

I had this happen before and had to reload the drivers for Radar Box.

As Donnie says, it sounds like a driver issue.

Try putting the RadarBox USB cable into another USB port if you have one.

Definitely a driver issue!
I see many installs that run both

Thank you for all the advice on this. I finally resolved the problem, but the coverage with the Puck is far superior, and now that I've got a grasp of Basestation thanks to all the excellent guidance on here, I'm going to stick to just the one system.
