It would appear to be a somewhat truncated season insofar that the opening display will not take place until June.

The reasons for the late start to the Red Arrows` 2012 season appear to be a little clearer,the two incidents involving them last year and especially the one at RAF Scampton has delayed their current training schedule to such an extent that they seem unlikely to obtain the requisite Public Display Authority until early June hence the delay to the commencement of the 2012 display season.
