coil orientation

When building the wire 1090 colinear, does it mattter if the coils are wound right or left? I would asume you should keep both coils wound the same.

I believe it makes no difference whether right or left wound or having it mixed.
The aim with colinears is to have its actively excited vertical sections phased so as that the RF-current flows in same direction.
IMHO each phaseing length wound in a ring with just one turn rather than coils with multiple turns
should have no influence.
