Good Day All,

Yesterday I had a couple of hours at East Midlands (Diseworth Road) and was pleased to see the Virgin Dreamliner (G-VWHO)

It took off and that was that. About an hour after take off I noticed that it was returning from Prestwick and due to land in about 20mins. I was following this on Flight24 and passed the info to a few people who did not have iPads etc.

I am 100% confident what I saw was correct however the aircraft disappeared and did not arrive. Yes a fool I was made out to be.

Does any member have a any suggestion / reason why this occurred? Try not to be rude.

Thanks.

Anmer

Have you viewed Playback on FR24 for yesterday?

Since route info on FR24 is done automatically depending on the aircraft's callsign, some routes can be incorrect. That was the case here, because the aircraft used the same callsign as it did on earlier PIK-EMA flights, but yesterday it went to Heathrow to enter into service.
