Let's let him answer the question.

The point stands Dan.. you cant just put something like that in type with out firm proof..

Here is an extract from an email I recieved from Mike:
Return-path: <info@radarspotting.com>
Envelope-to: danny@
Delivery-date: Tue, 31 Jan 2012 22:54:00 +0000
Received: from out-mta8.ai270.net ([94.126.40.175] helo=out-mta1.ai270.net)

In my country one is innocent until proven guilty whereas you're hanging me without a charge let alone a fair hearing.
As it happens I didn't use your mailing list so get your facts straight before you start making accusations.

Lets go back in time.

Morning Mike,
your profiles C152, and my JIMI, now have all possible privileges on the forum, when they are online they will not show up a RED in the online list.A little bit of investigation by the new owner, if he knows what he is doing, will discover this.Hamish.

Thanks Tom, someone has sent me the text:

For me, this is my parting post.

I've been a member here since 9th March 2009, joining 4 days after Hamish started Radarspotters.  I became a Moderator a few days later.

I've never met Hamish (though I hope to now he has more time) but he's always been there offering advice and respondng to ideas.  Even when AirNav threatened us with "litigation" and, together with Waters & Stanton, spread lies and unfounded allegations about us personally, Hamish stood his ground.  Thank you Hamish and may I, belatedly, join all the others and wish you all the best in your "retirement".

Now its Dan's turn to make his mark and I've decided to stand aside and let him have a free rein and not be landed with someone who was once referred to as "all old and not much left".

I made this decision before the karma change and had already advised Dan I'd be standing down as a moderator.

Good luck Dan.

I think that told everyone what I was going to do.
Smudger sent me already this link, I did PM him.

This farewell was hidden in a post about the "karma" thing", thats why I (and many other I think) never read it.

To Sun Worshipper: shouldn't your alias  be Radarspotting Worshipper, you're the local counterpart of our Big Irish friend in the AirNav forum  ;-)

I think I've seen enough and will immediately cancel my membership to Radarspotters as I am fed up to the teeth with all the back biting and accusations flying around. I don't post on AirNav site but remain a member as I still have a RadarBox but I could do with reading less rubbish each day so, as I said Radarspotters will go

ps I have also been receiving direct emails from outside any forum from Anmer for years and consider him a friend....

I cancelled my membership to Radarspotters this morning, hopefully many more will do the same. >:(

QuoteLet's make it simple.
Answer yes if your stole the radarspotters memberslist.
Answer no if you didn't.

Remember you reputation is based on this answer.

Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan.

You are doing yourself no favours with this.  In England a man is innocent until proven guilty so as you have made the accusation, it's down to you to prove it.

Your outburst has done nothing to enhance your reputation so I wouldn't start worrying about Mikes if I was you.

Bottom line is prove it or shut it, your choice mate.

Smudger98

Right thats my Radarspotters membership cancelled...

Dan, Stick your site where the sun dont shine..

And that's still the case.

I'll repeat this for the last time Danny.

If you wish to pursue your allegation that I "stole" your property, please report me to the police.  I'm more than happy to see you in court.  That's where I'll mount my defence, not here where you can present so-called "evidence" to bolster your allegations.  You're presenting things totally out of context and that's why I'm not prepared to answer your allegations here.

By the way, do you make a habit of trawling through "Personal" messages that weren't meant for you?  That must be a worry for your members.

And my last point.

Maybe if you hadn't blocked my Radarspotters access and refused to answer emails, I wouldn't have had to send the email.  You've brought all this upon yourself.

Now why don't you go away, call your solicitor and focus on running Radarspotters.  I'll do the same here.

Please don't cancel your Radarspotters' memberships on my account.  That's not what this is about.

Both forums can co-exist.  Radarspotters is well established and has a bigger membership.  It covers ship spotting too whereas Radarspotting specialises in aviation.

None of this would have blown up if Danny Dinneen hadn't arbitrarily blocked my access whilst proclaiming he supported free speech and everyone was welcome.  He could have replied to my emails but chose to ignore them.

I really don't know what he has to fear.? Competition will make us all work harder to please our members.

I haven't cancelled my membership.  But then again I can't.  ???

It's not for us to tell you what to do, you'll make the right decision all by yourself.

Mike,

I have not cancelled on your account. I have cancelled because Dan has done two things which I personally disapprove of.

1. He has repeatedly made accusations on a public forum without any proof.

2. He has betrayed the trust of members by publishing their personal messages. I could never trust him not to do the same with my personal messages in the future.
