Message from Bev at COAA:

Please take note.

I have mentioned this before but in the last few days, several direct emails that I have sent to users, when trying to respond to requests for help, have been bounced by their respective servers.

Sometimes a great deal of time is spent replying to complicated questions and it is very frustrating indeed when the destination mail server refuses to accept my email.

I have several email addresses and servers and so I often try to send the emai multiple times from diferent servers to try to get around the block. In many cases I fail.

In some cases, it is not my mail server that is apparently unacceptable to the recipient's mail server, but the actual contents : "email contains spam" when it manifestly does not and is simply my detailed attempt to help the user.

Can I please ask that if you email me direct with a request for help, that you make very sure that your email server will accept emails from me in reply. Not to do so is very discourteous and a complete waste of my time.

If you have emailed me recently and are wondering why you have not had a reply, perhaps you are one of those users. (Mike, the blade, Kevin, the baptist, Chris at comcast, and others please take note).

It is not really very smart to install a spam filter that means you don't get some important information that you actually need.
