Some imaginative setting of the hex code for G-ZOOB which should be 406E51 according to GINFO.

Fortunately the registration appeared on screen in BS/PP so someone has tied up the registration to the 012340 hex code.

Edit: I don't suppose t matters to ATC, they just see a unique transponder code and are not too bothered about the actual registration.  Only when a lot of GA are flying with hex code 012345 will it become a concern  Are there any rules that say the assigned transponder code has to be applied?
