Is there a radar program that uses outlines and can display Flightradar24 data?

eddm_muc

As mentioned in your other post, start feeding yourself and then you have all possible data...in conjunction with e.g. planeplotter

The FR24 RadarView had this option but you need to be feeding FR24 to access RadarView.  Not checked if RadarView is still available and I'm away from home at the moment without access to my Radarspotting toolkit.

Yes still works although I never use it - just checked.

Let Me rephrase that.  A stand alone program that is not a HTML browser that will let you image Flighradar24 data.  I'm a Premium member and want something better than Radarview.

If you're wanting to use all FR24 data (from all its feeders), I don't think there's anything available to you other than RadarView.

But I could be wrong.

My immediate thought of an alternative was RTL1090GlobeS software, but then realised that you want to include outlines.

But I checked it out anyway. And the good news ii that it does show outlines. I just dropped an outline of EGLL into the maps folder and it appeared (see screencap below).

it's not the easiest program to set up but it also allows the use of basestation.sqb files to display registrations.

See the webpage here http://rtl1090.web99.de/.

Although it is intended to be connected to a RTL dongle, using clever programs like modesmixer, it is possible to display the output of any receiver. Mine is displaying the output from Piaware with both MLAT and ADSB combined via modesmixer  ;D

Thanks IanH.   I'll take a look at this too.
