Since the 12th Feb I have submitted 9 Basestaion Error reports and I am wondering if I should bother sending anymore as I don't even get an acknowledgement.
The errors seem to happen during the night at different times and I have checked and can see nothing that would clash with the program, I also have the lastest firm and software installled.

I was wondering if anyone else has suddenly has this type of problem.

I leave Basestation running overnight and no problems here.

Are you connected to the SBS-1 via USB or Ethernet?

Do you have an anti-virus scan enabled overnight or a disk backup?

I stopped sending error reports to Kinetic about 6 years ago.  :(

The connection is via Ethernet and the AVG neither the AVG scan or the backup occur when the errors seem to appear.
Never had this trouble with XPpro but since the new build and completely clean install it seems to be a bit unsteady.
I take your point about not sending error reports. I think I'll stop now and same money on the email stamps ;D

If you submit an error make sure you put in a comment if you don't it gets disregarded automatically.
Also if you don't have an SBS connected it gets disregarded automatically.
If you are sending a report describe what happened at the time you discovered the error and you will get a response

I admit that I haven't put a comment on all the reports. That is ainly because it seems to happen when I am  tucked up in bed and the first I know about it is in the morning. Do you mean that as my SBS is connected via the Ethernet cable and not attached to the PC by a usb cable  the report is ignored?

If that question is about my post, I was trying to understand your setup and what might cause the errors.  Most errror reports are triggered when Basestation can't access the sqb file to write/read the database.

Since they happen at night, it might be that something is interfering with the database access.  Finding it is the challenge.

Mike, it wasn't about your post. It was the comment that Chris made " Also if you don't have an SBS connected it gets disregarded automatically" that made me wonder.

Hi

The error report needs to contain sbs details which come across on ethernet or usb
Please send me a direct email to support@kinetic.co.uk and I will search my junk folder to find out why I have not seen the errors

Chris
