B787 Dream Tour - Europe

Watched it on the box last night and it was heading north of Manchester at about 22,000ft.  Any idea why?

No idea but it went up to Carlisle and then did a U-turn.

Maybe had lots of reporters on board who wanted the flight deck interview?

This aircraft did an overflight of Luton and was seen by me over Stevenage at 11:59 heading to runway 26 at Luton. It did not land and was last seen climbing out to the north west at about 12:08.

My best chance of a photo was this morning, a nice patch of blue sky above and the 787 heading North after a trip down to the south coast, so with camera I stood outside waiting and couldn't understand why I didn't see or hear it, until I saw the track on the SBS
