Getting the same problem on both the desktop as well as the laptop. Occurred about midday. ???

Not sure if it's a GAS problem or a bug in Active display.

One of the lines in the error message might give a clue - "There is not enough space on the disk". Seems like GAS server has a problem.

The disk space problem refers to the disk on the server and I have reported to GAS. However, since Gary Jones passed away, there can be no instant cure. He was, unfortunately, a one-man band, and it may take some time to find someone who can work out what is wrong and fix it. Assuming it doesn't miraculously fix itself. It may just need turning off and turning on again...

Please don't bombard the support email address with complaints and support requests on this issue. Gary's daughter does her best to answer what questions she can and refers more complicated queries to me - so far they have <all> turned out to be related to installing BaseStation and putting your old sqb file in the right place in the virtual store... A server problem is quite a different issue.

Thanks Ian.

Sounds like AD will not be developed further and any issues that can't be easily fixed, may not be.

That's the problem with "one-man bands".  Flight Display is good example and I can think of another product that relies heavily on one man.

Thanks for all your replies. But I do realise that since the sad passing of Gary any problems might not be fixed as efficiently as they might have been. But mine as been working without any problems for months, So mine is not placing my old sqb in my virtual store. so have to assume that is server oriented.

Thanks.  Sam

I think this may have been fixed.

After a couple of false starts, I shut down ADPro and started it again. Make sure the INT button is green (connected to internet), the Toggle Lookup Database button is green (use GAS, not local) and the AP button also green (AutoPopulate on). So far ADPro has run fine, though I don't think it has found any unknowns to Auto-Populate. To test the server I went to SBS BaseStation DB/Bulk Populate and populated my unknowns. It ran through a thousand or so unknowns and populated 22. No error messages.

I wonder if the server database is still being updated?  Only 0.22% populated?

The same problem appears to be back again this morning. I have reported it to GAS so will see what happens.

Hi there,

Is anyone else having a problem with Active Display Pro at the moment?

Mine keeps stopping and after closing it down as it wasn't working I am now being asked for the licence details.

My licence renewal is not due for about 6 months.

Not had any problems here Mike

Thanks Ian,

After struggling for a while I did a shut down and reboot which appeared to clear it. Strange but before AD started playing up I had an error message on BaseStation - the first one I have experienced for years but even that is working OK again now.
